Sight Ministries International came to Surabaya to partner with Yayasan Pondok Kasih in providing about 4,000 eye glasses to community in and around Surabaya.

This group of Texan who led by the founder Dr. Glen Elisor came fully equipped with medical equipment, 2 Ophthalmologist, Optometrists and a team so dedicated, highly qualified medical technician, and very efficient group of worker that within 5 days provided 4,000 prescriptions eye glasses to those who needed it.

Part of the vision of Sight Ministries International is, "Bringing sight to those who would otherwise be functionally blind the rest of their lives is a life changing event for not only those who receive the vision care, but also for those of us who are able to give it. This "gift of sight" opens hearts so that the good news of Jesus Christ can be shared, in appropriate ways, by our teams as well as the people we serve with."

They brought portable equipment with them as well as computerized system for inventorying and dispensing the glasses that ensured each patient got the glasses they needed.
